DJ AustinMembership DirectorOwner/Landman, Dyad Resources, Inc.DJ Austin has been an Independent Landman for over 10 years in which she has worked for multiple large operators. She has a passion for land work and has had a successful career working in many counties in East and West Texas. She moved to Midland in 2016 to further her career and, in her spare time, has been investing in buying and trading mineral interests in the Permian Basin. DJ is an active member of the Women’s Energy Network and serves as the 2019 Membership Director for the Permian Basin Chapter. She is a Registered Petroleum Landman with the American Association of Petroleum Landmen and member of the Permian Basin Landman Association. She volunteers with the Midland Rape Crisis and Children’s Advocacy Center and the Breaking Bread Kitchen which provides meals for the homeless in Midland. She enjoys traveling the world as well as seeing the United States in her RV with her husband and their two dogs. Her hobbies include gardening, raising chickens, kayaking, and reading.
Samaneh TabriziCommunity Initiatives DirectorGIS Eng. Analyst, Pioneer Natural ResourcesBorn in Maryland and raised in Tehran, Samaneh has been living in Midland and working in Oil & Gas since 2013. She is a Geospatial Analyst and works for Pioneer Natural Resources after previously working at Apache Corporation and Dawson Geophysical. She also has extensive GIS experience working on national projects at the US Census Bureau, Department of Veteran Affairs, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Samaneh has an M.A. in Geography from Texas Tech University, an M.P.S. in Geospatial Information Sciences from the University of Maryland and a Bachelors degree in Geography & Cartography from the Azad University of Tehran.
She is excited to be the new Community Initiative Director of WEN and is looking forward to helping engage our members with the Midland community.
Kelsey McCarronMarketing DirectorStation Manager, Baker HughesAfter graduating from Villanova University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Kelsey started her Oil & Gas career in 2013. Currently, Kelsey is a Station Manager at Baker Hughes, leading an Artificial Lift sales team. Previously, she was a Wireline Field Engineer at Halliburton, where she gained experience in Open Hole Logging. She looks forward to forging lasting friendships with WEN members and actively contributing to the Permian Basin!
