Voting members of WEN have certain membership rights, such as the power to vote on issues brought before the membership and participation in the Annual National Business Meeting, a virtual meeting held each fall. Among the most important of our governance document are the national bylaws, which were last updated in October 2019, and policies manual. These resources are invaluable to members in learning more about WEN's purpose, structure, guiding principles and your rights as a voting member.
One of the key decision points for members is the election of the WEN National Board of Directors, comprised of members representing diverse backgrounds, professional focus areas, and geographical locations. Board members are the fiduciaries who steer the organization toward a sustainable future by adopting sound, ethical, and legal governance and financial management policies; ensuring activities align with WEN's mission; and allocate adequate resources to advance our association.
