Program Overview

The WEN Greater New York City Mentoring Program is a mentor facilitated peer-to-peer mentoring program to help provide participants with career guidance, professional development and networking. The program is open to all WEN Greater New York City Chapter members who are interested in participating as a mentor or mentee.

All participants in the program will be assigned to a small group mentoring circle based on their preferences. Mentors will host and facilitate monthly meetings to discuss various topics. Sample topics include leadership and executive presence; confronting imposter syndrome; persistence without perfectionism; and understanding unconscious bias.

In addition to the monthly circles, the Mentoring Program includes access to exclusive events, including a kick-off event, cross-circle networking events, and a cocktails & headshots event to wrap up the annual program.  The events are a great opportunity to connect with fellow mentors and mentees, while deep diving into a particular topic.

Registration

The Greater New York City Mentoring Program typically runs from September through June. Applications for the 2023-2024 Mentoring Program will be opened in Summer 2023. For more information on the program, please reach out to our Mentoring Co-Chairs Jasmine Zhu and Chelsea Wolgel.
