Dear WEN South Louisiana Members,

I am very honored and excited to serve as your President for 2024! It is such a privilege to be part of this community of remarkable women.

In 2023, our chapter achieved several significant accomplishments including hosting various educational virtual presentations, volunteer opportunities and networking happy hours. Additionally, in June we hosted one of our marquee events, the Summer Soiree, where we heard from an esteemed panel of women in leadership positions and hosted a silent auction to fund our annual scholarship. As a result of the event’s success, we were able to award scholarships to two Louisiana students pursuing a degree in the energy industry.

As we embark on another year, the 2024 Board of Directors are eager to build on the success of 2023 and we are already hard at work planning exciting and enriching events and programming! I look forward to another great year of WEN South Louisiana and seeing all our members at our events soon!
