WEN Oklahoma’s mission to empower female leaders in the energy sector is more than a statement; it is a movement. We recognize the unique challenges that women face in this sector.

As 2024 begins, I am thrilled to work alongside the dynamic group of women who continue to lend their unique energy to our Oklahoma network. Our commitment to an inclusive and empowering environment for women in the energy sector has never been stronger. Our mentorship programs, leadership workshops, and networking events are designed to elevate the presence and impact of women in energy. We hope to inspire confidence, develop leadership skills, and provide valuable industry insights to our members.

This year we aim to enhance our members' experiences through more interactive and value-driven activities. Through online and in-person events, we plan to focus on the latest energy trends, career development, and personal growth. Membership engagement is the cornerstone of our organization’s success. With the introduction of our new web-based portal and app, Glue Up, we have streamlined connectivity for our members, enabling easier interactions both locally and globally.

Beyond professional development, Women’s Energy Network of Greater Oklahoma is deeply invested in supporting our community. With a goal to impact the communities where we live and work, WEN Oklahoma plans to continue supporting environmental initiatives, educational outreach programs, and local women’s charities, while also encouraging STEM involvement among girls. We believe that early exposure to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is crucial. WEN Oklahoma has partnered with schools and non-profits to bring these education programs to students who might not otherwise have access to them. Our annual Gala to support this effort across Oklahoma continues to grow year after year. Please plan to be a part of this year's event on October 25th at Tulsa Discovery Lab.
