Dear WEN – North Texas Members,

I am extremely excited to greet you as your 2024 Women’s Energy Network – North Texas President. I want to wish a Happy New Year to all the incredible members of the Women’s Energy Network! As we enter this new year, I am filled with admiration for the incredible and selfless work so many of our membership do to support women and specifically women in the energy industry.

In 2023 our chapter awarded $20,000 in scholarships to young women interested in our industry and we plan to do the same again this year. In addition to our scholarship endeavors, our chapter supports the Genesis Women’s Shelter throughout the year. In 2024, we plan to work closer with high school students to generate more interest in our industry and collaborate more with the amazing Universities in the Metroplex.

I have the honor of working with a board of directors that is a strong, innovative, and hard-working group of ladies who give their time to help so many. We look forward to a successful year fostering diversity, shaping a more inclusive energy landscape, and encouraging women in the energy industry.
